Refer, acquire and drive purchase behavior

Air Canada and its loyalty program partner, Aeroplan, wanted to pilot new methods of driving new member enrollment in the Aeroplan program and increasing flight activity on Air Canada.

Friendefi provided a customized referral program, based on our Audience Engagement Platform, that would allow Aeroplan and Air Canada to reward a target group of members for referring their friends to sign-up with Aeroplan and then fly on Air Canada.

The referral program allowed targeted members to easily sign-in, invite their friends by email, by sharing on Facebook or by tweeting on Twitter, and then to track their rewards for each successful referral.

Friends who were referred by targeted members could easily enroll online using Friendefi’s custom-built enrollment form and then track their own rewards and search for air Canada flights from their online dashboard.

The pilot was a tremendous success – both Aeroplan and Air Canada’s performance targets were exceeded
